I thought it might be helpful to list local stores and their coupon policies. Here you go!
Walmart
- takes manufacturer and internet-printed coupons
- price matches other stores ads (bring in ad)
Harris Teeter
- doubles coupons every day
- allows you to stack
- some stores do NOT take internet-printed coupons (learned this the hard way!)
- some stores do NOT honor internet-printed “get item free” coupons
Target
- allows you to stack coupons (see my sidebar, coupons 101)
- accepts Target coupons (print from A Full Cup), manufacturer coupons and internet-printed coupons
Walgreens
- allows you to stack coupons
- accepts Walgreens coupons from weekly ad, internet-printed coupons and manufacturers coupons
- accepts Walgreen Reward Bucks
Lowe’s Foods
- doubles coupons every day
- accepts Lowe’s coupons from weekly ad, e-0ffers from online, manufacturer coupons
- accepts internet-printed coupons however the location by me does not accept them if they do NOT “take” on the first pass thru the scanner
- accepts Lowe’s Green Points, used to get free or reduced-price items from Green Points monthly list
Food Lion
- does NOT double coupons
- accepts manufacturer and internet-printed coupons
CVS
- accepts CVS coupons
- accepts manufacturer and internet-printed coupons
- allows coupon stacking
- accepts CVS Extra Bucks
Rite Aid
- accepts manufacturer and internet-printed coupons
- accepts Rite Aid coupons from weekly ad
